Crack & Tile Repair
Cracks in a pool shell are not always structural emergencies, but they should never be ignored. A hairline crack in the plaster is different from a crack through the gunite shell — and misdiagnosing the two leads to wasted money or ongoing water loss. Danny evaluates cracks honestly and repairs them correctly, whether that means a simple plaster patch or a full structural repair. Tile replacement is also available for waterline tile and decorative tile throughout Southwest Florida.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are pool cracks dangerous?
Structural cracks that go through the pool shell can cause water loss and, if left untreated, can worsen over time and cause more extensive damage. Cosmetic cracks in the plaster surface are less urgent but should still be repaired.
Can pool tile be replaced without draining the pool?
Minor tile repairs above the waterline can sometimes be done without draining. However, replacing waterline tile or repairing cracks below the waterline typically requires draining the pool.
